Attachment-Based Therapy for Lasting Change & Deeper Connection

It’s been years since you’ve felt connected, or maybe you lie awake wondering where the passion has gone. You do not laugh together anymore. When you make an effort, it does not work and drives you further into disconnection and despair. Sometimes you wonder why you stay, but when you look at your spouse, you still get those rare glimpses of hope and remember.

I help Christian couples learn to connect in the ways they used to, to honor God, and to regain the joy of marriage. Together, we can rebuild trust, regain intimacy, and restore the passion that your marriage deserves. Click the button below to book a free 15-minute consultation.

What to Expect When Starting Therapy

Starting therapy is a courageous step. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to begin.

At Cardinal Counseling Connection, I aim to make the process feel clear, calm, and collaborative from the very first contact. Whether you are looking for couples therapy or individual support, I’ll lay out our path forward step-by-step so you feel comfortable.

My Approach

From the very first session, my goal is to understand you and help you feel comfortable being your God-given, authentic self. Often, that means highlighting your strengths and helping you discover and ask for what you need with clarity and confidence. At other times, it means walking beside you through the places where self-sabotage, fear, or old wounds have made it hard to open up to love or connection. I will lovingly name those places, working with you to form a new way.

Whichever path we’re on, we’ll move through it with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. I genuinely enjoy helping people see themselves clearly and start living life on their own terms, not according to who others think they should be, but in alignment with who they really are and how they were created.

Your First Steps

  1. Reach out. Use the contact form to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. This is a chance for us to briefly connect, answer any questions, and make sure we’re a good fit.

  2. Initial session. If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first full session. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope to change, and begin mapping out a path forward together.

  3. Ongoing work. Therapy is an ongoing process of deepening insight, exploring emotions, and building new patterns—whether in your relationship with yourself or with someone else. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.
